The Registry
About The Registry
The registry is a collection of 'approved' Evochron: Alliance systems. It's not difficult to become approved, basically you ask me to post your new system up here and after a while if it hasn't been voted off then it's approved. To send me a system please zip up the system directory from your installation path and send it to me at evoreg@deimos-design.co.uk. We are using this method to try to ensure that everyone has a good selection of original systems, that we can all use in a multiplayer environment.
How To use The Registry
All systems come in a zip file that can be unzipped directly to your Evochron: Alliance installation path. The directory information should've been preserved in the zip file so once the unzipping process has finished then the new system is ready for use.How To Create Systems
- Firstly choose a system number for yourself. This can't be a number below 31 and shouldn't be a number that has already been taken by someone else.
- Then get your graphics together. All the nebula, planets, moons, suns, glyph and background images you want to use and put them in one place.
- Use the SWH System Editor to design your system parameters and import your graphics.
- Zip up the resulting directory and send it to me at the address above.
